Prof. Wen Bao has a significant experience on thermocycle analysis, supersonic combustion, thermal protection system and control theory and application of advanced aeroengines over the past 10 years. From 2003, he has been professor at Harbin Institute of Technology and he is supported by "Program for New Century Excellent Talents in University" in 2006. He has published over 170 research articles, filed 13 patent applications and edited 1 books and invited, guest, keynote lectures in scientific events worldwide. Prof Bao is an expert of the National Key Projects in China and the senior member of AIAA. Prof. Bao is also member of the Editorial Advisory Board of prestigious journals including International Journal of Aerospace Engineering, Journal of Propulsion Technology, Journal of Experiments in Fluid Mechanics. Among recent awards, Prof. Bao has received the Second Prize for Science & technology Development in Heilongjiang, China (2006) and very recently the Second Prize of National Natural Science Award in Heilongjiang, China (2014). Prof. Bao has also been recently appointed as the main member of an innovative research group which is called "Radiative heat transfer and flow control" supported by The National Natural Science Foundation of China.
