| 摘要：
In this work, polymers composites containing different nanofillers (such as nano metal oxide particles, clay nanoplatelets and graphene nanoplatelets) were presented and applied in anticorrosion coatings. The anticorrosion performance of as-prepared composites coating upon cold rolled steel (CRS) electrode was evaluated by a series of electrochemical corrosion measurements in saline conditions. It should be noted that the composite coatings were found to show better anticorrosion performance as compared to that of neat polymer coatings in terms of the dispersion of nanofillers into polymeric coating to effectively increase the length of the diffusion pathways for oxygen or water molecules.

| 简介：
Professor Juiming Yeh finished his bachelor and master degree at chemistry department of Fu-Jen Cathodic University, Taiwan, in 1988 and 1990, respectively. In 1992, he went to Drexel University of USA to pursuit his Ph.D. degree in the field of polymer chemistry. His PhD dissertation was concentrated on the studies of conducting polymers, sol-gel materials and organic-inorganic hybrid materials. In 1998, Professor Yeh entered into the chemistry department of Chung Yuan Christian University (CYCU) as an assistant professor. He was prompted to associate professor and full professor in 2002 and 2005, respectively. Currently, he focused his research interests on the studies of self-healing hydrogel, bio-mimetic materials and polymer nanocomposite materials through effectively dispersion of different nano-fillers (e.g., nanolayered clay, silica nanoparticles, carbon nanotube and graphene nanosheets) into various polymeric matrices and developed novel applications, especially in anticorrosion coatings, supercapacitor materials and bioscaffold materials. Up to now, his research career (since 1994) has generated ~ 180 SCI-related publications, four books (each book containing one chapter) and ~ 10 US Patents. He was promoted to distinguished professor in chemistry department of CYCU from 2012 to now.
