Biography: 
Mirosław Kwiatkowski is a assistant professor at the AGH University of Science and Technology in Krakow (Poland), at the Faculty of Energy and Fuels. He has at 1998 graduated with honors with Master in Science in Engineering degree from the AGH-University of Science and Technology in Krakow, Faculty of Fuels and Energy, in the scientific discipline: technology of chemistry. In 1998-2004 he worked at the same Faculty as an assistant. In 2004 obtained Ph.D. degree at the Faculty of Fuels and Energy, AGH University of Science and Technology in Krakow, in the discipline: technology of chemistry. Dr eng Mirosław Kwiatkowski the author and co-author of over 120 papers in journals, books and conference proceedings, including 35 papers in journals indexed in the Web of Science - Journal Citation Reports such as Adsorption, Applied Surface Science, Carbon, Colloids and Surfaces A: Physicochem. Eng. Aspects, Journal of Colloid and Interface Science, Journal of Mathematical Chemistry, Journal of Molecular Modeling, Journal of Physics and Chemistry of Solids, Microporous and Mesoporous Materials and Langmuir. He is on the editorial board of several journals including Bulletin of Trends in Chemical Sciences, International Journal of Computational and Theoretical Chemistry, Material Science and Engineering with Advanced Research, Journal of Integrated Technologies. He has participated in the scientific committee of several conferences and associations and serves as a reviewer in a wide range of international journals. Currently, he is interested on mathematical modeling of the adsorption process, description of the activated carbons porous structure, practical aspects of adsorption, production technology of carbonaceous porous materials, numerical modeling and computer science, purifying air stream, adsorptive storage of natural gas, energy efficiency, renewable energies and problems connected with waste management.
