Title: Advance Data Transmitting and Processing in Energy Internet
With the development of Energy Internet, ubiquitous data from distributed energy generations, energy conversion equipment and customers are the foundation of system monitoring and control. Based on the information and communication technologies, two parallel networks should be established in energy internet. One is the power delivery system which is physical and transmits energy flows. The other one is the communication networks to transmit and process various information flows, with which a real intelligent, efficient and self-heal energy internet can be built. This speech introduces energy internet characteristics and main data transmitting and processing requirements and control applications, followed by key technologies and standards. Typical examples are also presented and shared with the audiences.
Dr. Ting Yang is a Chair professor of Theory and Advanced Technology of Electrical Engineering, at the School of Electrical and Information Engineering, Tianjin University. He is the winner of Education Ministry's New Century Excellent Talents Supporting Plan. His research has been supported by the National Science Foundation of China and the Ministry of Science and Technology of China. Professor Yang is the author/co-author of four books, more than one hundred publications in technical journals and conferences, and the chairman of two workshops of IEEE International Conference. He is a senior member of the Chinese Institute of Electronic, the fellow of Circuit and System committee, the fellow of Sensor technology committee, the fellow of Theory Electrical Engineering committee, and the member of International Society for Industry and Applied Mathematics.
