Biography: 
Dr. Waqas Ahmad is an Assistant Professor in the section of epidemiology and public health at the University of Veterinary and Animal Sciences, Subcampus-Jhang. He has studied the pathology and mechanism of rabies virus infection throughout his master and doctoral studies. He has also been nominated for 11-day workshop organized by the Pasteur Institute of Iran with the support of the Institut Pasteur in Paris, the Department of Biochemistry, of the University of Lausanne, Switzerland, the Health Sciences eTraining Foundation (HSeT), the World Health Organization (WHO) and the PREDEMICS consortium (FP7 grant nb 278433) in collaboration with the World Organization for Animal Health (OIE), the Food and Agriculture Organization of the United Nations (FAO) and the Global Alliance for Rabies Control (GARC). He has several publications in peer review journals about rabies virus which is a lethal viral pathogen among and among deadly infectious diseases.
