Biography: 
Dr. Sunday Olufemi Adesogan who has been accredited by the Council for the Regulation of Engineering in Nigeria (COREN) is a corporate member of the Nigerian Society of Engineers. He obtained his PhD degree from University of Ibadan and has twenty five years’ experience as a practicing Engineer (both in the office alternate with the field). He was at one time the Personal Assistant to the Commissioner of Works in Ondo State Ministry of Works and Transport, Akure, Nigeria before joining academics and his currently a Senior Lecturer in Public Health option in Civil Engineering Department, University of Ibadan teaching both undergraduate and postgraduate courses. He has written many technical report papers as Consultant to Industries while in practice. Dr. Adesogan had supervised ten (10) postgraduate researches and he is currently supervising nine postgraduate works. He had reviewed many journal articles and recently reviewed two (2) proposals on LIRA 2030 Africa. His areas of Research interest is "The use of Water Resources and Hydraulic Structures for Health promotion, Sustainable development and Transformation of Rural Community". He has 10 (ten) research articles published in peer reviewed journals while five articles are awaiting publications. He has being in many academic and administrative committees of University of Ibadan among which are University of Ibadan Council committee on Development (2018); Senate committee of University of Ibadan (2016 -2018); Head Technical Support Unit of the Faculty of Technology, University of Ibadan (2017 -2019) and University of Ibadan Anti- Corruption Committee (2004 -2006). Dr. Adesogan had presented research papers both at local and international level. He won the outstanding presenter award at the 4th Annual Applied Research Conference in Koforidua, Ghana in 2011. Dr. Adesogan is one of the pioneering staff teaching and promoting Bio-Medical Engineering course in Nigerian Universities as Adjunct Lecturer in Bio-Medical Engineeing.
