Prof. L. RAMESH Dr.M.G.R. Educational and Research Institute, UK
Biography: Dr. L. Ramesh received his Engineering Doctorate (2015) in Jadavpur University , Master of Technology (2000) in kerala University, Master of Business Administration (2010) in INGOU and Bachelor of Engineering (1997) in M.S. University. He is Presently working as Additional Dean Engineering & Technology and Dean Academic Events in Dr.M.G.R Educational and Research Institute, Chennai. His passion of research is to find optimal solution for Energy Efficiency Research. He is also the Director of MGR Vision 10MW (Vision to save 10MW in 10 years) initiative at Dr.M.G.R Educational and Research Institute. He organized four Scopus Indexed International Conference named IET CLN SEISCON in 2007, 2011, 2012 and 2013. He was very actively involved in the professional Society named, IET (The Institution of Engineering and Technology) and volunteered as Chairman of IET(YP) Chennai Local Network for the period 2006-2014. He was also IET Council Member for the period 2011-2014 in UK. . He received 10 National Awards for Research Activities and International Sir Henry Royce Award 2008 from IET HQ London. He organized 25 workshops, 10 symposium, 30 seminars and huge number of technical lectures. He published 16 papers in Scopus Indexed Journal and 33 papers in Scopus Indexed Conference. His paper Quality recognized as, 5 H-Index in Scopus, Research Gate Score of 11.2 and 8 H- Index in Google Scholar. He is the Founder and Chairman of Energy Efficiency Research Group (GREEN9) with the initiative to save Energy through Awareness’ Initiative. The GREEN9 society contributed with 17 publication in Scopus and created awareness with 7500 general public and achieved 20% energy saving. He is currently the Joint Secretary of Institution of Engineers India, Tiruvallur Local Centre. He delivered 20 energy awareness talk with the School students.
