Biography
Prof. Xiaolin Qin Chinese Academy of Sciences, China
Biography: Xiaolin Qin is currently a professor at Chinese Academy of Sciences (CAS) as well as University of CAS, China. He received his Ph.D degree in computer software and theory from Graduate University of CAS, in 2011. From July 2011 to October 2013, he was an assistant professor at Chengdu Institute of Computer Applications, CAS. From Novmber 2013 to October 2017, he was an associate professor at Chengdu Institute of Computer Applications, CAS. He also serves as deputy director of Laboratory for Automated Reasoning and Programming of CAS and Academician Office. From May 2014 to June 2015, he was a postdoctoral fellow at Department of Computer and Information Science, Linköping University, Sweden. He is a member of Youth Innovation Association for CAS. He serves as a deputy Secretary General for Chengdu Youth Association of Science and Technology. He serves as a vice chairman for the technical committee of biology computation and biology information processing, Chinese Institute of Electronics. He serves as a member for the Computer Mathematical Committee, Chinese Mathematical Society. He was a local organizer for 2014 Computer Mathematics (CM) conference. He was a TPC member for AIAR 2015, CiSE 2015, 2016, 2017 and CET 2015, CTSE2015, etc. He is a member of editorial board for all affiliated Journals of BEI-ESP and an editor of International Journal of Intelligent Information Processing (IJIIP), etc. He is also a reviewer of JSSC, IJCM, IJDSDE, SJMR, JPCS, JCA, JCEA, JSMU, CAE, ICCASM, ICECCS, etc. His research interests include reliable computing, computer modelling, artificial intelligence and computer mathematics. His research is partly supported by China 973 Project, NSFC, West Light Foundation of CAS, China Postdoctoral Science Foundation funded project, and EU project, etc. He has published more than 30 scientific papers in journals and conference proceedings.
