| 摘要： Quality Assurance (QA) is a very important in engineering management. Quality Assurance is a set of administrative and procedural activities to develop and manufacture high quality productsor deliver high quality solutions in an organization. Many approaches have been proposed and developed to improve quality assurance, such as various testing techniques, statistical control, and total quality management.One of the challengesin quality assurance is developing software tools to support QA activities. I will discuss our experience in developing a cloud-based quality assurance tool in engineering management. Our tool supports dynamic configuration, feature extension, and activity traceability. I will also discuss data analysis based predictive models, descriptive models, and decision models in quality assurance. | |
| 简介： Dr. Jiang Guo is a Full Professor of Computer Science at California State University Los Angeles. Prior to joining California State University in 2001, he worked as a Research Associate of United States National Research Council (NRC) from 1998 to 2000. Dr. Guo's research areas include software engineering, wireless sensor networks, web-based systems and software system interoperability. Dr. Guo is the author of over 80 papers on computer science and software engineering deriving from his research. He got the best paper award of the 11th International Conference on Software Engineering and Knowledge Engineering. Dr. Guo has published papers in prestigious journals, such as International Journal of Software Engineering and Knowledge Engineering, Information and Software Technology - Elsevier Science, and Electronic Notes in Theoretical Computer Science - Elsevier Science. He is an editor of Software Engineering and a reviewer of Journal of Information and Software Technology and Journal of Information Sciences of Elsevier Science, too. He has served as the program committee member for more than 60 conferences, including International Conference on Software Engineering and Applications, International Conference on Software Engineering. Dr. Guo was selected as NASA Space Grant Fellow from 2008 to 2010 and had been working at NASA AMSE Research Center (ARC), Jet Propulsion Laboratory (JPL) and Kennedy Space Center (KSC). | |
