Biography: 
Daniel Dragomir-Stanciu graduated Technical University “Gheorghe Asachi” of Iasi, Romania, in 1989, Faculty of Mechanical Engineering and hold PhD degree in thermal systems and equipment in 1999. Between 1989-1991 he worked as engineer at Aerospace Company IAR Brasov, Romania. In 1991 he joined Technical University “Gheorghe Asachi” of Iasi, Romania, Faculty of Mechanical Engineering, Department of Thermal Machines, as Assistant Professor and then Lecturer. He taught courses of steam and gas turbines, turbomachinery, cogeneration. He was surveyor for research activities of PhD students in the doctoral school of Faculty of Mechanical Engineering. From 2014 Daniel Dragomir-Stanciu is Lecturer in the Department of Electrical Engineering, ʺPetru Maiorʺ University of Targu Mures, Romania, where he teaches courses of thermodynamic and thermal engineering, power plants, fluid mechanics. He had teaching activities in the frame of Erasmus program at the Instituto Superior Técnico, Universidade Tecnica de Lisboa and Instituto Politécnico De Leiria, Portugal. His research is focused on renewable energy, solar energy storage, turbomachinery, ORC, energy efficiency. He has published more than 40 academic papers. Daniel Dragomir-Stanciu has undertaken research in projects granted by Romanian Ministry of Research and Innovation or granted by EU funds. In the period 2012-2014 he was head of Cogeneration-Trigeneration Laboratory in the program ʺResearch platform for efficiency and sustainable energyʺ developed by Technical University “Gheorghe Asachi” of Iasi.
