Biography: 
Dr Ezzat Mohamed Abd El-Lateef was born in 21/6/1953 and is working now as an emeritus Professor since 2013in Field Crop Research Department ,National Research Centre, Cairo, Egypt. He graduated in Faculty of Agriculture and hold Ph.D. in Agricultural Science (Agronomy1988),M.Sc. in Agricultural Science (Agronomy1984), and B.Sc. in (Agricultural sciences 1976) .He worked as head of Field Crop Research Department since 2012till 2013. His main activities were in the field of Field Crops Production, Physiology and Agronomy .He worked as Sludge and wastewater consultant in the field of bio-waste recycling in agriculture since 1995 till now. His fields of expertise include: Cropping and Crop Intensification systems, which fits most of the developing countries with limited land area and natural resources .Dry land farming and cereal cultivation under rain-fed conditions such as North Sinai. Participation in Sludge and wastewater re-use in agriculture through national and international projects which aim at the safe use of sludge and effluent on field and horticulture crops.Growing tropical and energy crops. He shared in 12 National and International Development Projects of Agronomy ,Rural Development and Irrigation . He contributed in the greatest international bio-waste projects in Egypt and middle east (2007Sludge Management in Greater Cairo, 2000 – 2001Cairo East Bank Effluent Reuse Study .1998 – 2001 Alexandria Effluent and Sludge Reuse Study, and 1995 – 1999 Cairo Sludge Disposal Study). He shared as chair person or member staff in more than 50 international and national conferences in the fields of agronomy and crop production ,crop physiology and sludge and wastewater recycling in agriculture. He published more than 70 scientific papers in the field of agronomy and crop production and more than 40 papers in bio-waste recycling in the international journals and conferences.
