Biography: 
Mr. Kamran Baksh received his Bachelor in Agricultural Engineering from Sind Agriculture University, Tandojam, Pakistan in 2002, Masters of Engineering (Hydraulics and Irrigation) from Mehran University of Engineering and Technolgy, Jamshoro, Pakistan. PhD Research Scholar at Monash University Malaysia since 2015. He has over 12 years of experience in research and development, mobilizing the water users for participatory approach in agriculture, irrigation water management. He worked as a Senior Engineer (Water) at Institute of Plant Introduction of PARC, Karachi, where he has designed and installed various methods of water conservation, including Solar pumping with high efficiency irrigation systems to improve water application efficiency. He has been awarded Borlaug Fellowship at Colorado State University, Fort Collins under USDA in 2013. He has also been awarded Australian Awards APAS at University of Western Australia, Perth in 2014. He has participated in training and seminars in Beijing China, Penang Malaysia, Thailand and Sri Lanka.
