| Biography: Maciej Dzikućis a Professor(Assistant) at the Faculty of Economics and Management at the University of Zielona Góra. His research focuses on issues related to economics, energy, emission reduction and sustainable development.He haspublishedmorethan160 papers in journalsand conferenceproceedings. He hasparticipated in the scientificcommittee of severalconferences and associations and serves as a reviewer in a widerange of internationaljournals. Maciej Dzikuć has been awarded several times the scientific prize of the 1st degree of the Rector of the University of ZielonaGóra for outstanding individual scientific achievements.His PhD thesis titled "Economic and ecological aspects of Polish energy security" received a prize in Competition for Young Adept Scientific on "Lignite chance for the Lubuskie Region" published by the Polish Energy Group Gubin Ltd and University of ZielonaGóra.He currently runs a scientific project entitled “Economic, ecological and socialaspects of lowemissionlimitations in the Middle Odra”.
