Dr Manoj Khandelwal is presently working as a senior lecturer of Mining Engineering at Federation University Australia. He has also worked as an Assistant Professor at Maharana Pratap University of Agriculture and Technology (MPUAT), India 2007 to 2014. He did his undergraduate degree in Mining Engineering, Master’s degree in Rock Mechanics and Ph.D. in Rock Blasting. He also worked at Central Institute of Mining and Fuel Research, India as a Senior Research Fellow from 2002 to 2004. Dr Khandelwal has attended a postdoctoral research fellowship by winning the most prestigious Australian Government’s Endeavour Research Fellowship to undertake research at Monash University, Australia in the year 2008-09. His main research area is rock mechanics and rock engineering as well as rock blasting. So far, Dr Khandelwal has published more than 100 research papers in different reputed national and international journals and conference proceedings of repute. He has successfully completed number of research and consultancy research projects in his area of interest. He has been awarded number of prestigious national and international awards including Young Scientist Award by the then President of India during the 93rd Indian Science Congress in 2006.
