Dr. Hamid Yaghoubi is the director of Iran Maglev Technology (IMT), the managing director and the chairman of the board of directors for the Sara Sazane Basir Company (SSBC) and the director of Asia Hamayesh (www.hamayesh.asia), in Tehran, Iran. He became as the Iran top researcher in 2010. In this regard, he received the gold medal, honor letter and award from the Iranian president, the Iranian Minister of Science, Research and Technology and the Iranian Minister of Information and Communication Technology. 

He became as the 2011 and 2012 Outstanding Reviewer for the Journal of Transportation Engineering, American Society of Civil Engineers (ASCE), USA. He was the chairman for the 1st National Conference on High-Speed Railways in Iran (HSRC2014), in Tehran, Iran, 30 April, 2014. One of his journal papers became as the 2011 Top Download Paper for the Journal of Transportation Engineering, American Society of Civil Engineers (ASCE), USA. One of his book chapters has been chosen several times as the most viewed & downloaded chapter for the InTech publisher, University Campus STeP Ri, Rijeka. 

He received the ICCTP2011 award for the 11th International Conference of Chinese Transportation Professionals (ICCTP2011), August 14-17, 2011, Nanjing, China, Chinese Overseas Transportation Association (COTA), Southeast University, China, American Society of Civil Engineers (ASCE). He has been the editorial board member for some journals such as the American Journal of Traffic and Transportation Engineering (AJTTE), Science Publishing Group (SceiencePG), USA, the Scholars Journal of Engineering and Technology (SJET), Scholars Academic and Scientific (SAS) Publishers, India, the International Journal of Computer and Advanced Engineering Research (IJCAER), etc.
