Dr. Kuo-Lin Huang is a Professor at the Department of Environmental Science and Engineering at National Pingtung University of Science and Technology (NPUST). Previously, he served as an Assistant Professor and then an Associate Professor at the NPUST. He holds a Master degree in Environmental Engineering at National Cheng Kung University(Taiwan) and a PhD degree in Environmental Engineer from Clarkson University (USA). He has published more than 125 papers in journals, books and conference proceedings, including more than 65 papers in journals indexed in the Web of Science – Journal Citation Reports such as Environmental Science & Technology, Journal of Hazardous Materials, Journal of Power Sources, International Journal of Energy Research, Journal of Membrane Science, Atmospheric Environment, Chemosphere, Science of the Total Environment, Environmental Pollution, Industrial & Engineering Chemistry Research, Journal of The Electrochemical Society, Journal of Environmental Management, Journal of the Taiwan Institute of Chemical Engineers, Aerosol and Air Quality Research, International Journal of Electrochemical Science, Journal of Environmental Science and Health, Part A, Fresenius Environmental Bulletin, Environmental Engineering Science, and Bulletin of Environmental Contamination and Toxicology. He is on the editorial board of three journals: The Global Environmental Engineers, Jacobs Journal of Civil Engineering, and International Journal of Petroleum Technology. He has participated in the scientific committee of several conferences and associations and serves as a reviewer in a wide range of international journals. Currently, he is interested in Environmental Technology (e.g., resource recovery, degradation of (emerging) organic pollutants, and vitrification), Electrochemical Advanced Oxidation Technology, Electrochemical Sensor, PEM Fuel Cells, and Membrane Technology.
