Biography
Christos Koukouvinos

Christos Koukouvinos obtained his Ph.D. degree in Statistics from the University of Thessaloniki in 1988. He was awarded the prestigious Hall Medal of the ICA in 1996. He is a Fellow of the ICA and was member of Council of ICA from 2000 to 2003. Christos has authored more than 335 papers in the field of Statistics and Combinatorics and 7 books (in Greek). He has collaborated with several world known researchers in the fields of Statistics and Combinatorics. He is the referee of about 37 international scientific journals and he is on the Editorial board of ten related journals. He has served as a Guest Editor for three special issues on Metrika, Journal of Statistical Planning and Inference and International Journal of Applied Mathematics and Statistics. He has supervised 11 doctoral dissertations, 48 Master and 88 Diploma theses. He also acted as external examiner of 5 doctoral dissertations. Christos's area of specialty is Statistical Experimental and Optimal Designs, Statistical Quality Control, Biostatistics and Combinatorial Designs.
