Yilun Shang is an Associate Professor of Mathematics at Tongji University. He received his Ph.D. degree in Applied Mathematics from Shanghai Jiao Tong University (SJTU) in 2010, after receiving a bachelor's (SJTU) degree in Mathematics (along with a second bachelor's at SJTU through the English Department). From 2010 to 2014, he held postdoctoral appointments at University of Texas at San Antonio, Singapore University of Technology and Design, and Hebrew University of Jerusalem. His research focuses on the structure and dynamics of complex networks, agent-based modelling, system control, cyber security, self-organization, Boolean function, random graph theory, etc. He has published papers in journals such as Sci Rep, PLOS One, PRE, EPL, J Stat Phys, Complexity, J Frankl Inst, Linear Algebra Appl, Electron J Combin, and Ars Combin. He is an invited reviewer for Mathematical Reviews and Zentralblatt MATH.
