Dr. O.L. Shanmugasundaram is working as Professor in the Department of Textile Technology at K.S. Rangasamy College of Technology, India. He obtained his B.Tech. degree in Textile Technology in 2000 from Bannari Amman Institute of Technology, India. He has qualified in the GATE 2003 Examination with 83.21 percentile score. He did his M.Tech. degree in Textile Technology at the Alagappa College of Technology, Anna University, Chennai. He has received his Doctoral degree in Medical Textiles in 2011 from Anna University.
He published 10 research papers in refereed International and National journals. He has to his credit 12 papers presented in International Conferences and 4 others in National Conferences.
He is an Editorial Advisory Board Member in Textile Review Journal, Textiles and Light Industrial Science & Technology, Indian Journal of Applied Engineering Research, International Journal of Applied Research on Textile, Journal of Textile Science & Engineering.
He is acting as Reviewer of Manuscripts in the Journal of Applied Polymer Science, Indian Journal of Fibre & Textile Research, Research Journal of Textile & Apparel, Textile Research Journal, Fibres & Polymers, Natural Fibres and Journal of Industrial Textiles. His areas of interest are Medical Textiles, Technical Textiles, Textile Chemical Processing and Fibre Science & Technology.
