Biography
Pratima Agarwal

Dr Pratima Agarwal obtained her M. Tech (Materials Science) and Ph.D. (Physics) from IIT Kanpur, India. Later she was a postdoctoral fellow at University of Toledo, Ohio USA before joining IIT Guwahati, India in July 2000. Her research focusses on the development of thin film solar cells and elemental and compound semiconductor thin films for device applications; solar cells, thin film transistors. Her recent work is on development of highly crystalline SiC, Carbon allotropes thin films by HWCVD andamorphous/crystalline heterojunction solar cells.
