    He processed and interpreted ‘airborne radiometric data’ by statistical significance score analysis and demarcated an area of high uranium potential lying within longitude range 79 deg 00 min to 79 deg 15 min and latitude range 16 deg 30 min to 16 deg 45 min which proved three years later to be exactly Lambapur uranium deposit.

    He developed a method in 1988 for interpretation of radon data for purposes of recognition of buried uranium ore deposit based on the intercept parameter of linear regression model that caught attention of News Media, The Times of India; published a citation under the headline 'New Method to find Uranium'.  After 20 years, in 2008, other workers [Ramola et al., Radiation Measurements 43 (2008) 98 - 101] echoed the same conclusion.

    He developed a method in 1990 for statistical evaluation of optimum radon emanometric technique based on an idea of poor correlation between radon and soil radium for which he received paper reprint requests from univ. of Gottingen, Germany; Bhabha Atomic Research Centre, India; Institute of Natural Resources, Spain; Lawrence Berkley Lab., California, USA, Indoor Environment Prog., and Physical Research lab., India.

    An work based on multivariate R-mode factor analysis for finding geochemical association of radioactive and trace elements in the quartz pebble conglomerate of Dhanjori basin, Singhbhum, Jharkhand State, India in 2000; was included in a title named 'High Resolution Provenance' made by Prof. Darrel Henry of Lousiana State Univ., USA.

    A collaborative work with IIT, Kharagpur and VECC on new high background radiation area in the geothermal region of Eastern Ghats Mobile Belt (EGMB) of Orissa, India in 2006; was in the selection of 'Science Direct Top 25 Hottest Articles July - September 2006'.

    An work with Leena Joseph on 'Improved estimation of Box Cox Transform parameter and its application to hydrogeochemical data' in 1997 was cited in 2005 issue of int. J. Mathematical Geology, in 2006 issue of int. J. Geochemistry : Exploration, Environment, Analysis, in 2009 issue of the book "Geochemical anomaly & mineral prospectivity mapping in GIS" by E.J.M Carranza, Elsevier, 351p. and in 2010 issue of int. J. Geochemistry: Explor., Environ., Analysis Geol. Soc. London.

    An work with Rajendra Singh, P.C.Taneja and D.N.Saxena on 'Evaluation of uranium potential of an area using factor analysis of hydro-geochemical data : a case study from Hissar and Bhiwani district of Haryana, India' in 1997 was mentioned in bibliographic collection titled 'Radon in the environment, a current bibliography' in 2001 issue of the int. J. of Radioanalytical and Nuclear Chemistry
