  • Biography:
    <p>Dr. Reuven Chen is a Professor Emeritus of physics and former Dean of Students at Tel Aviv University, Israel. His main field of research has to do with different aspects of luminescence, in particular thermoluminescence (TL) and optically stimulated luminescence (OSL) which have direct relation with radiation measurements. He has published about 200 peer-reviewed papers in international journals, as well as three books published by Pergamon Press, World Scientific and Wiley. Currently, he is an Associate Editor of &quot;Radiation Measurements&quot;. Prof. Chen got his Ph.D. degree in 1968 from the Hebrew University in Jerusalem. He has been with Tel-Aviv University from 1969. During these years he held visiting positions in the Polytechnic Institute of Brooklin (UAS), London University (UK), Queen's University (Canada), Univ. Paris VI (France), Oxford University (UK), Birmingham University (UK), Simon Fraser University (Canada), Naval Res. Labs (USA), University of Maryland (USA), University of Adelaide (Australia), City University of Hong Kong (HK), Chinese University of Hong Kong (HK), University of S&atilde;o-Paolo (Brazil), University of NSW (Australia) and McDaniel College (USA).</p>
