NACMP 2016 is devoted to the advancement of condensed matter physics. Condensed matter physics is a branch of physics that deals with the physical properties of condensed phases of matter. Condensed matter physics is the most active field of contemporary physics and overlaps with chemistry, materials science and nanotechnology, and relates closely to atomic physics and biophysics. The scope of NACMP 2016 covers both theoretical and practical areas of condensed matter physics; Topics of interest include, but are not limited to the following: theory of condensed matter, dielectrics, low temperature physics, superconductivity, magnetism and spintronics, soft condensed matter and biophysics, computer simulation in soft matter, semiconductor physics and devices, graphene and carbon physics, nanoscale physics and technology, and applications.
